Girls Varsity Softball · Aubry Lucero Drives In Five To Seal ECHS Victory Over Saddleback

Aubry Lucero came to the ballpark and meant business on Thursday, driving in five on three hits to lead Eastside Christian Eagles Varsity past Saddleback 16-1 on Thursday. Lucero drove in runs on a single in the first, a double in the fourth, and a triple in the fourth.
Eastside secured the victory thanks to ten runs in the fourth inning. Tereise Tosi, Mikayli McCormack, Angie Esparza, Ally Ng, and Lucero each drove in runs during the inning.

The Lady Eagles fired up the offense in the first inning, when Lucero singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run. Eastside Christian Eagles Varsity put the pressure on, lead by walks by McCormack and Ng, a triple by Lucero, a single by Esparza, a home run by Tosi, an error on a ball put in play by Tosi, and a double by Lucero.
Tosi got the start for Eastside Christian Eagles Varsity. She lasted three innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out five and walking one.
Eastside Christian Eagles Varsity collected eight hits. Lucero and Tori Marvel all managed multiple hits for Eastside Christian Eagles Varsity. Lucero went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Eastside Christian Eagles Varsity in hits. Eastside Christian Eagles Varsity was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Lucero had the most chances in the field with nine.
